U14 Tier 1A & Tier 1-Dev (Elbourne) Boys' Training Squads Posted
2014-04-08Attention U14 Boys & Parents:
Thanks to all of the players who attended tryouts for the upcoming summer season. It is evident that our club has a high number of skilled players at the U14 boys level. One of the many benefits of having such a large pool of talented players is the ability to field multiple, competitive teams while continuing to focus on player and team development.
U14 Tier 1 Soccer Is Highly Competitive
The seasonal goal for every Tier 1 team at CITY is to challenge for Provincial and National Championships; U14 T1-A is no different.
To accomplish this goal the U14 T1-A team’s coaches are responsible for developing and assembling the group of players they believe will put the team in the best position to achieve success.
Players have been, and will continue to be, placed on the team that most closely matches their current abilities. Player movement is a reflection of player development that depends on many factors including ability, commitment, training habits, etc.
U14 Rosters Do Not Have To Be Finalized Until July 31ST
Prior to the start of the Nova Scotia Soccer League (NSSL) regular season players have been assigned to either the T1-“A” or T1-“Dev (Elbourne)” squad. This will allow T1-“A” and T1-“Dev (Elbourne)” players to train together and to move between both squads during the first half of the season.
There Will Be Player Movement Throughout The Season
There will be players currently on the T1-“Dev (Elbourne)” roster that will be placed on the T1-“A” team. Likewise, current T1-“A” players may be assigned to the T1-“Dev (Elbourne)” squad.
To start the season players have been assigned to the following teams:
NOTE: Players with “ * “ next to their name have been invited to train in PEI from April 11th-13th
Training sessions will begin very soon, please stay tuned for details - to be posted on the website.
