U16T2a Girls Crowned Provincial Champs

After a very exciting weekend of soccer all City teams made it to the finals. Our U16T2a girls put in a convincing gold medal game winning 4 - 1 against Cole Harbour. U12T2a Boys and Girls made it to finals with very strong performances, both losing in penalty shoot outs.
Congratulations to all our players, coaches and managers for a great season. U16T2a girls capped a successful season, winning the league and now Provincials; a great job perforrmed by our coaches, Tim McLaughlin and Christian Turcot.
U12T2a boys and girls had a great season. The girls came second in the league and followed up with strong performance over the weekend; hats off to Maiya Slaunwhite Gallant for some heart stopping saves in net. The U12T2a boys finished a close fourth in the season and enjoyed great success through the round robin. City was leading with Dunbrack scoring a second half equalizer to bring the game to a heart stopping shoot out.
Good job everyone.
Next weekend our U16T1 Boys, U14T1 Boys, U14T2b Girls and U12T2b Boys and Girls all go for gold again after very successful summer seasons.
