HCSC is now accepting applications for Senior Technical Staff for Summer 2010

Halifax City Soccer Club seeks motivated and committed people for full time summer positions with the Club’s mini and youth player development and training program.  Successful candidates will possess:

• Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills;
• Excellent communications skills, oral and written and the ability to manager people in an effective and respectful way;
• An ability to work with a range of age groups (youth/mini) and skill levels;
• A sound theoretical and practical knowledge of the game;
• Strong technical abilities to teach and demonstrate various skills; and
• Must have or be willing and make time to take the CSA Community Coach Certification.

Candidates will work preseason preparation as well as 4 evenings, plus daytime clinics, May 24^th  through August 30^th, some travel may be required.  Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high degree to commitment to Halifax City Soccer Club and its mandate to provide a fun, quality soccer program to its membership. 

This candidate must be returning to post-secondary education in the fall of 2010.  HCSC offers a competitive wage package based on a 28-hour workweek.
