Mini Program Final Week Schedule

Thank you to all participants of the summer 2009 season,  please note the very important dates listed below.

Monday August 24^th,  6:00pm (U4) and 6:30pm (U6)    MINI CLOSING BARBEQUE,  tonight we will be hosting a mini barbeque and some fun games on the pitch for those that wish to participate.   This is a very relaxed end to the summer season.  A chance to thank your parent volunteer coach and staff and receive your summer Tim Horton’s medal,  coffee and doughnut and a hotdog for the player.   At this time we would like the Tim Horton jersey’s returned.   This event will go forward rain or shine.

Tuesday August 25^th,  Senior Men’s and Women’s championships, Mainland Common 6:00pm Women and 8:30pm Men.    This is an exciting opportunity to let your child watch Nova Scotia soccer at its best.   There is a charge at the door for this game  $5.00 adults, $1.00 child and no charge if you are wearing a t-shirt or jersey.

Wednesday  August 26^th,  U10 Pizza Banquet 6:30pm at the Military Family Resource Centre,  located just off Connolly Street in westend Halifax, behind St. CAtherines Elementry and the CFB Curling Club.   At this time, players will receive their U10 Bell Aliant Trophy,  a treat of pizza and a drink and hand in their jersey.   This event is for all U10 players

Thursday,  August 27^th,  RESCHEDULED U8 Barbeque and last round of U8 and U10 mini tournament.   Hurricane Bill necessitated a move of the last day of U8 Mini’s.  Originally we wanted to move to Tuesday, but WE HAVE NO STAFF TO RUN THE EVENT ON TUESDAY AS THEY WILL BE PLAYING IN THE PROVNCIAL FINALS and MY VOLUNTEER REFEREES WILL BE  WATCHING IT.  We apologize for this inconvenience, but finding volunteers has been impossible as everyone wants to go and watch both our Men’s and Women’s teams in the finals.   We have a wonderful time on Thursday with great weather and it will be a great wrap to the end of the season.     Dalhousie Wickwire  Field 6:00pm rain or shine.
