Flu Season Approaches
2009-07-27As we hear more and more about the H1N1 virus, we want to remind parents and players that they must not share waterbottles and food on the sideline. Leagues have suggested that we refrain from shaking hands at the end of games in an effort to minimize exposure.
Good habits such as coughing into your arm and frequent hand washing are strongly recommended. If you have flu like conditions and suspect exposure, please stay home from practice and games, let your coach/manager know your condition. Establishing healthy habits now should help all of us, both on and off the pitch have a great summer, fall and winter.
