Halifax City Welcomes Peter Leebrook, Club Head Coach/Director of Coaching
2009-06-01Halifax City Soccer Club welcomes Pete Leebrook, Club Head Coach/ Director of Coaching. Pete has a USSF “A” License and UEFA “B” license. His extensive coaching background has included working with several competitive clubs in Arizona for 15 years, Washington State University Women’s program and as an educator for the English Football Association.
Pete is also a UK qualified teacher with a degree in Sports Studies from University of Northumbria and a post grad certification in Physical Education from De Montfort University.
Pete played professionally for Burnley FC from 1985-1989. He has also represented England at the Semi-Pro level and represented Great Britain at two World Student Games.
Pete and his wife Tracey have three children, Sophie, Emma and Edward.
Halifax City sincerely thanks Carl Hayre and Darrel Cormier for acting as Interim Head Coaches. Their time, hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated.
Darrell and Carl will be sharing some responsibilities with Pete through the summer and will be continuing on in their substantive positions as Senior Technical Staff.
