Halifax City Alumni continue to impress in AUS regular season action across Atlantic Canada.

STFX X-men continue their undefeated season with a 1-1 draw versus Dalhousie Tigers followed by a home win 1-0 versus MUN.  Blake Fenton , Liam Elbourne and Joe Edgerton, all starting in both games.

Acadia started the weekend on Friday with a tough 1-0 loss to CBU in Cate Breton. Sundays Home game was another big outing for Cooper Coats, finding the back of the net again in a 3-1 win over Moncton. Axemen returning players John Attenborough starting both games for the Axe Men

The St. Mary’s Huskies with Alex Black, Darien Rolle and Cian Tousignant-O'Siadhail split their weekend with a Loss to UPEI and a Win over MTA on Sunday. Cian potted his first AUS goal which should open up the gates for more.

The Dalhousie Tigers game on Friday Night vs. X included Halifax City players Ahmed Abokar , Jacob Bolton, Freddy Bekkers, Kallen Heenan and Jamie Matthews . Dalhousie followed up with the 3-2 loss to Moncton for their first loss of the season.

In RSEQ soccer, rookie Damon Robinson continues his rookie season at McGill with another start and 60 minutes at Molson Stadium in a 3-1 loss to UQAM. Followed by a 3-0 Win vs Cross Town rival Concordia Stingers on Sunday.

While in OUA play Cameron MacKinnon and Rory McParland of Queens were both active in a 1-1 draw versus UQIT in Kingston, followed by another draw 2-2 vs. Trent on Sunday.

Meanwhile at Carleton University, Dondrae Fells Ravens had a huge 6-0 win over Laurentian and a second win over Nipissing Lakers.

In NCAA soccer Max Gross now a rookie at Brown University continue their regular season with a 0-0 tie vs Rhode Island after 110 minutes of play. Browns next home game this week in on ESPN vs Boston University.

In ACAA play, MSVU’s Mariah Wright and coach Danielle Cyr tied Madison Freschette  and UKC 0-0 on September 21, 2017. On September 23, Mariah had  a five goal explosion in their 6-1 victory over Crandall. On September 24th, UKC beat Crandall 2-0.

In the NCAA, Hannah Fleet and Southern Methodist University tied Memphis 3-3 on September 21st. Hannah Bruce and Utah Valley lost 3-0 to BYU on September 22nd. On September 24th, Karah Fleet and UMass Lowell lost 2-1 to Hartford and Hannah  scored in SMU's 3-2 loss to Tulsa.

 In AUS play on September 22nd , the Dalhousie Tigers with Stephanie Dyck, Haley Glazebrook, Jensen Hudder, Sydney Kenney and Lisa Sullivan tied St FX X Women with Chloe Brennan, Elise Brennan, Emily Fleming, Alex Gosse and Larissa White 0-0.  Annika Monroe and Acadia Axewomen fell 1-0 to AUS leading CBU. On September 23rd, Celina Cavadini scored against UPEI when Nicole Theriault and SMU Huskies fell 3-1 to PEI while Dal was shutout 1-0 by Moncton. September 24th saw Mt A narrowly defeat SMU 3-2, St FX and MUN tied 0-0, UNB lost 3-1 to UPEI, and Acadia triumphed 5-1 over Moncton.

In a rare autumn Ontario heatwave with the humidex over 40, on September 23rd, Alexa MacLatchy and Queens Golden Gaels dropped a 2-1 decision to UOIT while Hannah Landry and Katherine Bearne of the Ottawa Gee Gees beat Ryerson 3-1.  On September 24th, Katherine scored when UOttawa tied UofT 2-2 and Queens defeated Trent 2-1.
