Alex Black Commits to Saint Mary's University

U18 striker will play in the AUS next fall
City striker Alex Black will be remaining in Halifax next fall after signing for the Saint Mary's Huskies.
Alex, currently in Gr12 at Halifax West High School, will be hoping to lead SMU to their first championship victory since 2011. SMU has a great tradition in Canadian university soccer soccer, they have 13 AUS titles to their name and have appeared in 5 CIS championship finals.
In his time at City Alex has appeared at 2 National Championships, claiming the Golden Boot at the the 2013 competition in Kamloops, BC. SMU are undoubtedly gaining a player that strike fear into oppostion defenses.
Whilst at SMU Alex will be persuing a business degree.
