City Player Headed to National Science Fair Seeking Players for Soccer Study
2015-04-17
Canada Wide Science Fair Scholarship Winners: James Davy 4th from left
With the help of fellow Halifax City players who took part in research that measured the effect fatigue has on soccer skill, U16T1 player, James Davy earned a Medal of Excellence at the regional competition and a place at the upcoming Canada Wide Science Fair at UNB in Fredericton.
Before heading to nationals, James would like to enlist the help of players (boys and girls) from U10 Academy, U12-2A and U14T1 to run a final trial. The session would take about an hour of your time at a local community gym and would involve a skills test and some running. Healthy recovery refreshments will be provided.
If you would like to take part in the study early next week, please contact James at: cjdavy@gmail.comMore information about the Science Fair: http://hste.ednet.ns.ca/?p=509
